OEM's will not be releasing new servers for old CPU. If the last CPU will be 2024 Granite Rapids and the next refresh is 2028-2029 Coral Rapids, Intel based servers will look increasingly more stale.

It also happens that the core in Granite Rapids is one of the older cores, roughly Alder Lake generation. Intel did a lot of work getting it on a new "Intel 3" process and worked out a decent chiplet arrangement, but the core is an older, pre-Zen 4 generation while AMD has a brand new Zen 5 generation.

BTW, I came across an article comparing a Unicode transcoding library utilizing AVX-512 heavily, and Zen 5 came out at nearly 2x performance of Granite Rapids:
