Hudson Technologies, Inc (HDSN)

Paul, I have followed some yrs ago into Hudson Technologies. FYI, I was pondering whether I should sell due to the phase out of refrigerates called hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs) which Hudson reclaims from cooling systems. This due to international agreements and U.S. law which will eventually vastly cap the agent's production.

AI advises that the phase out may result in a tail wind that should benefit HDSN with the inflection point maybe two years out when the stock piling of these agents is diminished and drawn down as production is capped.

Here is its conclusion for consideration: "the HFC phasedown provides a strong, long-term structural tailwind for Hudson Technologies. However, investors and the company will need to navigate potential headwinds and market volatility over the next few years until the excess supply in the channel is absorbed and the significant demand for reclaimed refrigerants fully materializes, likely around or after 2029."
