FC, the case is already difficult to prosecute as-is. The evidence is weak, the statute of limitations is quickly approaching, and numerous federal prosecutors declined to pursue the charges. One even chose to resign so that he wouldn't have to take the case. Yet the Orange King decided to appoint Miss Colorado, a young lawyer with absolutely no experience in prosecuting anyone, because (a) he likes hot blondes, and (b) she's the only one willing to risk her professional reputation on a case like this.
