Yesterday I met with Dov and Ronit for an hour in the offices of Anne McBride. I have a lot to say and it is late so I may not say it all now. Before I met with them I did a lot of research to make the most of my time. I must tell you that this board is a great introduction, when I mentioned names of people who have posted here there was instant recognition. Among other things the purpose of there day was to meet with outside analysts and they had a luncheon with them that I could not attend due to commitments. I understand there were nine attendees and I am told it went well. I know Openheimer was there and I know thay had a meeting with Lehman Brothers. If you go to Yahoo for quotes and research you will see that two analysts follow one is Openheimer which has a strong buy, the other is Hambrect and Quist which has a hold. H&Q is a California company, Dov and Ronit were going to California but were not sure they were going to meet with H&Q. This was the first time I had met them and I found them both rather forthright and honest and quite knowledgible. I also found them to be very conservative. I did not hear grandiose statements. I have no doubt they work very hard, the gains for them in becoming a larger company are much greater for them than for any of us. So I felt good about the leadership of the Company. Let me tell you up front, I do not believe there are any big set top box announcements that we are going to hear about in the next several months, that does not mean there won't be later but as of now they are not in Nokia and I am not sure if they are speaking to anyone in TCI. I also want to mention that though I am not an engineer I believe disk on chip is a product that would do very well in the set top box arena. Later I will point you to an article i found on the subject from "wired". I do believe we have a chance to have very nice returns in this stock, but the big money if it comes will probably not be this year unless a gigantic design win. It is probably a year or so off. So let me begin, the C1 divestiture is progressing. They still expect it to close this quarter. I hope it does it is very positive for the company. I want to reiterate something said on the phone call. Sales this quarter will not increase over the reported fourth quarter however profits probably will since the lost sales are being replaced at sales with higher margins. Thats all for now, I will write more tomorrow. The stock is not running away so you can wait another day. There are some good things be patient. burt
