A million bucks? What lawyer's gonna take THAT on a contingency?

Currently there are FIVE known wrongful death cases pending against Tesla.

, ,

Garcia/Alcala v. Tesla (2021 Model 3 crash; discovery violations)

Dryerman Family v. Tesla (2024 Model S Autopilot/Full Self-Driving crash killing three)

June 23, 2025

U.S. District Court, Camden, NJ

Newly filed; seeks compensatory and punitive damages; no resolution reported.

Bauer Family v. Tesla (2024 Model S fiery crash; faulty doors trapped occupants)

November 3, 2025

Recently filed; alleges design flaw in doors during power loss; ongoing.

, ,

Tsukahara/Nelson Families v. Tesla (2025 Cybertruck fiery crash; doors trapped victims)

April 23, 2025 (Tsukahara); October 2, 2025 (Nelson)

Alameda County Superior Court, CA

Pending; alleges known door system defects; seeks punitive damages.

,

====================

The same suits happen with other manufacturers from time-to-time, it is pretty routine, and there is simply no evidence of a chronic problem here.

I know. You want it to true so badly. But reality is that the frequency of occurrence of deaths in Teslas is not high, and even the ones that do happen (like the one you cited) turn out not to be the fault of Tesla.
