If this scenario is common in France, that would make it very easy for a stock manipulator(s) to make money on the stock's way down (short it and then go public with the announcement) and then on the way back up, too (cover and go long).

Who needs a job if one can do it with the publicly traded companies. Why would a regulator in France go along with this shit?
