This all I know about Venezuela.

Venezuela has the world’s most oil: Why doesn’t it earn more from exports? | Energy News | Al Jazeera

So I do wonder why the USA has Venezuela in the News all the time. If drugs are the problem, that an eazy peazy fix, just shut down the drug operations being run by the CIA and MI6. Life must be tough after Afghanistan got shut down I guess.

Somehow I suspect Oil is the predominant part of the equation. That is why Juan Guaidó and Trump wish to bring freedom fries to the Venezuelans. If they didn't have so much oil the sanctions and embargos would be gone and the populace would be able to afford shoes and food, and free to be as communist as they like, or not as desired.

Freedom fries always come at a high price. The only hope Venezuelans have is that Greta makes a big comeback and Oil gets banned. Only a faint hope there.
