| | | <<Ouster, Inc. has announced the expansion of its Ouster BlueCity traffic management solution in Utah. This expansion follows a successful initial deployment at over a dozen intersections and involves a contract awarded to Econolite by the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT). The contract aims to expand the Ouster BlueCity solution to over one hundred intersections across various cities in Utah, including Cedar City, Ogden, Orem, and Salt Lake City.>>
<<The city of Chattanooga is expanding Ouster's BlueCity ITS solution to over 120 intersections across its downtown corridor, establishing the largest deployment of lidar detection technology for traffic and pedestrian safety in the country.>>
Those two cities alone will have 220+ intersections with Blue City. That's 2 sensor per intersection and I believe $16k per intersection so 220 x 16,000 or $3,520,000 revenue plus recurring software/firmware dollars.
Multiple additional cities in the US, Europe, and Asia are at some stage with Blue City now. I don't currently know of any competition. |
