With every section of the front in Ukraine either collapsing or weakening, massive corruption scandal in Ukraine government, with rats fleeing the country with their stolen money, Trump wants to pull of a miracle escape before a full Ukrainian capitulation.

Terms (outlined in paywalled Axios article) include:
- Crimea and Donbass fully ceded to Russia and international recognition of it
- severely limiting the size and weapons allowed for Ukraine military
- no foreign troops
- official recognition of Russian as legal language in Ukraine
- official recognition of Russian Orthodox Church in Ukraine

Full capitulation terms Russia will impose will certainly be much harsher, so Trump is trying to preserve some viability of future Ukraine.

Russia can play along, counting on Zelensky (and EU) to be retards and reject this peace plan, so that Russia can gobble 2x, 3x or even 4x of what is Trump putting on the table:
