I found a video from 2024 in which Stan Harley had a lengthy discussion about cycles, and his analysis would seem to be in line with what that Perplexity summary said. He posted a couple of charts that highlighted his analysis. The one below was a screen grab from that presentation. This chart uses a pre-1800’s synthesized depiction of the S&P going back to the “origin” of the stock market in 1602. It appears from his analysis that he was making the case for a major top in the stock market in 2025 followed by a correction down to a significant low in 2029.
