The FCC is stopping California’s misuse of federal dollars.

California is all for sending your taxpayers dollars to people here illegally.

And Governor Newsom recently signed a bill that makes it effectively impossible for the FCC to ensure that the federal Lifeline dollars we administer go to their intended recipients.

The new California law now prohibits the state from collecting social security numbers and from sharing relevant data with the federal government.

The FCC is stopping California’s abuse today.

We are revoking California’s “opt-out” status and now requiring California to use a federal verification process to ensure that Lifeline benefits only go to lawful recipients.

Thank you.
