Today was brutal. Unfortunately all the upside for AMD is 6-9+ months away, and IMHO there is a lot of near term risk with memory clobbering their other markets. Further, Nvidia will ship well north of $200B of AI compute in the next three qtrs, prior to AMD materially ramping MI400 and rack scale solutions. That is a lot of time for the question of an AI bubble to be resolved prior to AMD benefitting from the buildout.

I don't see how Nvidia keeps 75% margins when their GPUs have a substantial $ amount of HBM. Either they are getting 75% margin passing that through, or the effective margins on their own silicon is like 90+% or something.

BTW, it has occurred to me given the Nvidia Grace/Blackwell ramp (and their 75% GMs) that its quite possible Nvidia is now selling more each quarter of data center CPUs than either AMD or Intel. I don't think they have broken that part out yet, but they are selling a lot of GB systems now. Its entirely possible they will shortly be > than AMD + Intel combined in data center CPUs, but of course they are all in AI systems, not general purpose servers.
