Well, for some reason, I just feel I should have more sympathy than I can muster. For a lot of them, they have to have some inkling that they have been misled and betrayed. And that can be difficult to accept. But there is a huge gulf between the girls Maxwell betrayed, for example, and someone like MTG. At least one theory holds that her recent weirdness is because she realized the QAnon echo chamber was rife with falsehoods, with Trump's response to the Epstein saga being the thread that unraveled the whole cloth. A big difference between the two is the girls were too young to know better and MTG saw a path to power.

The MAGAts who post here learn much more MTG than they do to those girls. Trump was the Teller Of Comforting Lies. They wanted to believe.
