More unsubstantiated, inaccurate conjecture on other board, now about Gentex by one of the typical suspects...I posted before I do not feel Gentex is making the Corvette roof yet a couple like to post as it is the case while having no knowledge of it....Gentex ceo just said in conf call that they hope to have a roof to market in 2 years (not exact words).... (This was after I said I do not think corvette is Gentex roof too)... To me that probably means 4-5 years and will never happen because EC is a bad product for a roof as shown in corvette roof reviews (great for spd) EC is good for rearview mirrors as the area is so small that the change is not painfully slow and it does it as dusk automatically via a light sensor (light control, a term i learned) so it does not matter if slow.....Also Gentex futuristic promo video of 6 years ago showed a car roof assembly, not in a car, i posted it here not long ago, for marketing and there as been no videos or documentation, pics showing a gentex ec roof in a prototype car or anything since...

Better if that board sticks to facts or clearly state it is an opinion if it is...Just some friendly advice

<<Why does GM insist on introducing new options that can’t be produced in any meaningful numbers? It really gets old…>>

That will change, and Gentex won't be supplying them. Mark my words.
