It's going to zero in confetti printed currencies?

Doubt it.

Only with government & military intervention of some kind.

Unless some kind of back door is revealed, and that would be difficult as it's open source, and can be changed.

As regards the Warren Buffett type argument that crypto currencies "provide nothing & have no value" i.e no return on investment, no employees, and no dividends, no service to humanity.

Well, so how many people spent lots of time and money maintaining the BTC system (for one example) ? In theory BTC provides probably the most important function to humanity... an open and honest monetary system.

So I see the so called "Warren Buffett" type argument against the value of crypto currencies as full of holes.

Just honest questions that deserve something more then "it's going to zero" type of statement, if you can be troubled to say more.

At the moment I don't see much intelligence in the argument, just an entrenched prejudice. A fair enough position for those with lots to lose I guess.

I'm picking up a little of the other crypto crap too. Like crypto may well be the way nations go, and adopt crypto that is tied to the existing system, I hold no prejudices against anything, including plain old cash.
