No way to know if it's astroturfing or genuine outrage from open source / maker types, but I'm seeing MANY stories in the last few days about how QCOM has "killed" Arduino by imposing new restrictive licensing covenants that go against the spirit of the platform.

Other comments say this is just boilerplate language that only applies to the Arduino Cloud platform, and that it's a big nothingburger. But those comments tend not to get nearly the traction as the ones that rake QCOM over the coals.

I've no way to know whether the whole thing is mostly true, mostly false, or merely a biased take on much more innocent facts - but regardless, I am believing there's need for some public comment from Q on this ASAP.
