Closed end funds (CEF's ) looking for income. Here is something I posted on another site. This is not investment advice, DYODD
Lets take TEI
Well respected name, consistent discount to nav. , somewhat low expense ratio 1.14% low aum only 320m been around since 1993 IPO’d at $15.00 a share current price $6.32. Chart shows steady increasing share price for the whole yr, payout sometimes exceeds income ( leverage about 17% ) dividend income over its lifetime lumpy. dividendchannel.com

Next take PCN
Well respected name, consistent premium or tracking nav, expense ratio .85%, aum $845m, been around since 2001, IPO’d at $15, chart shows pretty steady share price except for April selloff. low leverage of 6%. payout consistent and year-end bonus

disclosure I bought PCN 10-20-25 ave. cost $12.59
I realize this might not be an international CEF, but it holds bonds of international co’s

When you have less assets you can use leverage to increase income but it might come at a cost.
Well enough for today.
