Actually if you have a ticker on your computer at work, you've got to be loving today's trading. I have been calling some of my friends at JP and CS FB. No real news, but the one at CSFB mentioned that he thought this was a major short play. And a good one at that. Today's battle is a classic of the shorts versus the longs. I tried to help by picking up 250 more at $17.125....

Over 300K by 5pm(oops sorry EST 12 noon). I love it!

Would you explain the rationality of your friend at CSFB shorting
CRYSF? By the way, what is CSFB? I do not understand the high volume today. The company is financially solid, earning ramp up, Y2K and Euro99 are no doubts two big issues. 97 EPS $0.44, and 98 EPS is estimated at $0.73~$0.76. New contracts each Q. current price $17.25
evaluate the company with PE less than 24, which is ridiculously low in this industry. Other Y2K company like ALYD is not even profitable yet. It would be crazy to short CRYSF at this price level, considering the stock is already discounted almost half from its high of $32.

The only possibility of price declining coupled with heavy volume that I can think of, is that maybe restricted shares are releasing into the open market. The company IPOed more than 1 year ago. Can anybody confirm that the restricted period is only 1 year?
