There's an indian guy around vegas. I can't remember if he is Nevada or Arizona. But he has a convenience store on the desert in the middle of nowhere that is a must see.

First of all, he gives you huge amounts of ice cream on the cheap, which feels very good. But what really makes his place special is all the old ads and marketing stuff he has collected going back to more than a century. His shop is like a micro Smithsonian museum.

I didn't expect it when I entered, but once inside, I spent a fair bit of time studying his paraphernalia. But the best piece wasn't inside. When I was leaving I looked back. Above the entrance door he had a copy of newspaper reporting how the savages had killed Gen. Custer. Then it hit me. He is implicitly saying, "My family has been here since forever and nobody is moving me. Not even Custer. And I am damn proud of it."

I enjoyed his shop more than any other place I went to. But unfortunately I can't tell you how to get there.
