From the Court: Qualcomm v. Arm: Looks like During the original ALA/TLA negotiation Qualcomm was worried about Arm refusing to provide technology Qualcomm needs to operate its business or, alternatively, to raise prices such that Qualcomm could not develop commercially reasonable chips for its customers. Qualcomm looks to have negotiated -- it appears to be section 8.1 (d) ?-- a clause that requires Arm to license at a reasonable price. This is now important as it's one of the sections Qualcomm is using to say Arm violated the contract.
