JH, AFAIR, always said cost and misunderstanding of PDLC and EC. Noiw he says color was an issue as well.

Gauzy's prefab lam stack thing + black maybe got us over the hump. I think too that OEMs that looked a few years ago need to be updated on the current state of SPD> blah blah blah

If it goes, there will be an obvious tipping point retrospectively:) I said the same around the SLK 15 YEARS AGO:(
