TSO: Oh shoot! That was just guessing. More like musing, dreaming, thinking out loud, guessing, guessing, guessing.... Figured if you had the litho-tools that would go a long way towards hitting 0.08u. The litho tools should be there then. But of course there may be other impediments. Perhaps just being caught up in the excitement.

I wonder how this will impact the urge in the 300mm push?

This DPMI development is important not just merely because it is useful but because it more than likely just saved a few hundred millions from the coffers of the semiconductor manufacturers. Simple is very good and DPMI just came up with a "simple" solution to several hundred million in cap expenditures down the road.

I bet semis have just reduced some long range spending plans.

This truly was a fantastic development...
