The quiet period ends on March 9 (SEC regulatory approval or rejection deadline)also on or before March 15 European regulatory approval (or rejection) is expected. Future estimates about the merged companies may be made after these dates.

This info was deduced after much haggling with investor relations department of CPQ today by me.
