A bit prior to y2K I met on line a guy who was seriously nuts about EW. Loved the stuff. Told me that he was seeing all those waves and cycles in everything. So did I at the time - which became the basis for the friendship. He told me that he could distinguish waves even in his daily relationship with his wife - like, OK, this was a nice morning. Likely, what’s coming next is the W2 correction”. A while later he was hired by Robert Prechter, worked for him for some years, did interesting stuff. As far as theory…. It implies that those waves and cycles are at the center of the Universe, from tiny dimensions to galaxies. So, why not human emotions (conscious and otherwise, which move the markets)? IMO, yes, I think it’s theoretically justifiable.
