Uh oh. I don’t like this. China announced this in October. Looks like they built a house out of the tech-sanction bricks we threw at them. They went back to developing a long-abandoned tech for AI — analog chips. They’ve already hit a 1000X speed breakthrough with massive energy savings. Grok verifies this is for real.

According to this report we don’t seem willing to get on board. However President Trump has just signed an executive order Genesis Mission to harness the efforts of 40,000 scientists to get us ahead on the tech race.

I’m sure they’ve heard of this by now but I think a call to the White House 202-456-1111 is in order anyway. General contact information whitehouse.gov
