I will give the company kudos on this release. At least it was fairly well-written. I'm not sure what the motivation for this release is though. I also feel caution is in order. (I know Jonathan --- you think I'm too careful.). For one thing, I didn't care for their not mentioning the shareholders at all. You would think they would use the phrase "enhance shareholder value", but it's as though shareholders don't even exist to them. Also, I didn't like the "corporate flexibility" benefit. I read that as meaning if they need cash in a hurry, they will have up to 4M shares they could dump at a moment's notice. Lastly, I'm sure that they will buy shares slowly over time so as to get the best price and not cause the price to appreciate much. I'm not sure this is a shareholder friendly announcement. However, I think we'll see a short-term price increase and if we get good audited financials, that should add greatly to upward price movement. Be careful out there.
