I heard that GTE is not going to do the mass deployment thing until next year, that's right..... 1999. It's all talk right now and a little action to keep things interesting (ALA, INTEL, Microsoft's drum beating).

Today the WSTL stock confirmed it's down trend and started a new leg down. SELL while you still can. It will hit 10.

This company is in bad shape. Even worse, after all these years of talking ADSL, when some of the TELCO's finally start to move and everyone finally agrees to keep the standard set as DMT. They get caught with no pants on! NO DMT MODEM and no one to sell to!!! What great management!! Even worse, they have no back up plan or DMT technology and are currently scrambling to use Amati's.

I was seriously considering a long term position here. But, this stock right now is the most troublesome stock to own. On one hand, if it ever stops going down. Some positive news could trigger a short covering hell. On the other hand, holding a long position is about as smart as burning all your money. The best bet may be to find that other company out there that is currently following through on it's growth and is making money. The Opportunity cost of holding WSTL long is and has been pretty darn bad!!!!

Try TDFX it's coming off an oversold position and a support level. They have a good product that everyone is scrambling to get!
