Netanyahu seeks pardon from Israeli president in corruption case
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday submitted a formal pardon request in his long-running corruption cases to the Israeli presidential office. The extraordinary appeal is now under review by President Isaac Herzog, whose office said the decision carries “significant implications.”
