Yeah, but if I'm holding a CC late on opex day and its only worth pennies, I will close it out. AMD has a habit of swinging a few bucks near the close at times. Yep, closing locks in profits, a positive with a volatile like AMD, any time before exp. Good to clean up loose end. My strategy differs from most here, I try to sell leap calls further OOTM.
