I have seen dementia close up so I do know what I am talking about. My best friend's Mom's had dementia and lasted for 10 years, she started playing with dolls and required 24 hr care, My friend was rich so he could afford it. My sister one of the strongest women I have ever known was fine last year then she started to forget. She got paranoid and in 6 months she no longer knew who I was, she didn't last a year, she never smoked, drank little, ate healthy, no family history, made no sense.
