Nice CAGR at 26% w/ a 12 year hold.

I may have you beat w/ KLAC - KLA CORP that I bought in 8/2015 for $49.67/share. At todays price of $1,157.48, it has a CAGR of 35.62%.

Both AMAT & KLAC are in the semi-equipment business:

KLAC Market Cap = $154.4 Billion
AMAT Market Cap = $200.9 Billion

The problem is I had a lot more KLAC but sold most of it way too early. KLAC is still #5 in my top 10 w/ AMAT now #12.

I only started buying AMAT 3/2021. Still has a CAGR of 23.45%

The takeaway is to let your winners run as long as they perform according to the metrics you follow.

If you can beat the $SPX CAGR over 10 years around 12.5 % then you are doing good.
