It's hard to believe that no one has posted that not only did Greenspan touch on the y2k problem, but NBR had three segments on it.
News from the continent that they are far behind in remediation and that the cost of success is incalculable. Citibank has announced they
expect their cost to exceed 600 million dollars. This as a result of the SEC requirements for disclosure. A piece on the tightening supply of workers in the computer field and a plea for Congress to ease restrictions on immigration of foreign workers. All serious stuff. Should have some effect Thursday.
