There is a rumor floating around from someone from "GF Securities" (I have not heard of this firm). Most of it seems like wishful thinking and people familiar with Apple product line don't think it is how Apple operates.

But if there is a severe shortage, Intel may end up with some scraps.

But here is a problem: If this turns out to be a wave that will last 2-4 years (would still be a bonanza for AMD), for Intel, it may not be.

The big upside for Intel would be the Ohio fab. But that fab complex is on hold and will not participate in any of the current upside.

Intel capacity in Arizona can only supply a limited upside. Mainly just moving more of internal demand from TSMC and then, after it is ramped up, not a ton beyond that.
