TA of charts is neither better or worse than a monkey throwing darts. I made my first margin buy of Intel the first trading day of 96 @58 when after noticing how over the last 10 years Intel had shot up from it's winter low to it's high within the first 120 days of the year something like 60%+ percent, and with only Intel stock couldn't buy more,so hocked my Intel bought more and then sold the margined stock unfortunately after it went up 50%. Wished i would have just kept paying the interest on the margin debt but, oh well. Anyway I don't know if I used TA or intuition, or my common sense 9 year old daughters(120shares) philosophy of buy low and sell high, all I know is that buy and holding people do better than 90% of all traders, or so the statistics i read once said, I know I would have been better off just holding after trading 830 shares of MSFT I had the first week they went public. Woe is me to have to always remember that.
