It seems to me Westell is constrained by its DMT suppliers, namely TI/Amati and Motorola's CG. I imagine it will languish without these chips. Westell can't mass deploy without the components, but should be a star once they have them. When will that be?? Seems like we should have had them already. I heard (but seeing is believing) that the TI/Amati DSP would make its appearance in March. Anyone have any further info? Its back to the old search for coppergold and now the TI/Amati DSP. When it hits, it should hit big. I hope Westell has better staying power than Amati did. ADSL deployment has indeed been Chinese water torture as Pat Mudge once said so well.

The water is still dripping,
Michael
