Gretzky was traded to the LA kings by the crooked owner of the Edmonton Oilers, a Peter Pocklington. Gretzky's wife was just a minor actor. There are no republicans in Canada we have Conservatives. Gretzky is thought to be a big reason Hockey became more popular in the USA but he never won another Stanley cup. on a side note the owner of the LA kings back then was a crook too, A Russian just beat one of his scoring records, most goals ever scored. I was rooting against the Russian until Gretzky showed his true colours. The only reason Gretzky survived as long as he did there was always a big goon protecting him.
