I suspect that any UBI policy response will need to have a community service / volunteer credit component that approximates the better part of a standard work week. In essence, UBI in exchange for helping others and bettering the community while the machines, robots and software do all the tasks people used to do. It's like Star Trek. You never heard them talk about money on the original series unless it was something like the Providers betting how many Quatloos to risk on gladiator fights.
