From my little knowledge of diamonds and the geology behind them, is it not true that a rock may look like kimberlite, but actually is something else? And if this is true, would you not want verification that it is kimberlite before releasing anything? I personally would rather wait and know one way or the other, than have them say "Boy it sure does look like kimberlite," watch the price soar, then come back and say, "oops, sorry - it wasn't kimberlite after all, just petrified dinosaur dung" and watch the price toilet out.
After Bre-X, I would think that independent testing is the way anybody would WANT to go, and remember - these independent labs are probably doing verifications for many other companies as well, and Montello has to wait its turn...
If I am wrong regarding anything here, please - anybody - correct me...this just makes sense to me. But I may be wrong. As I have said before, we just need to be patient. Chins up people - I have a fair bit at stake here too.
