I can see you’re as bad at this as you are black-jack. The OT is theologically authoritative, but not “law” in the juridical sense in the Catholic Church. I.e. it was never rejected because it was never accepted. Of course there are two separate canons and you may be confusing and jumbling them up together like you always do with everything else.
