yep I was there during part of the aftermath of that one--a bona fide tragedy for sure. but you know i discovered that some of the biggest critics of big oil--you know the monday morning quarterback types who never accomplish anything themselves but always bawl and squall the loudest when something happens--even they like for lights to come on when they flip the light switch---heaters and A/C's to work anytime they wantum---and autos to roar to life with plenty of petro on demand.

accidents happen and the Valdez incident was human error and gross incompetence to boot. nothing to do with big oil in and of itself uh.
