Of course not. That way a TA can always say that the chart was taking on a cup and a spoon formation instead of a cow and the moon formation that he based his earlier opinion on.

(I'm slamming you on the above personally, just saying that that's the oldest excuse in the book when the almighty TA fails to accurately predict price movement.)

Do not think for a minute that Lynch, Templeton and Buffet don't use charts in their analysis.

I don't know about Sir John, but to suggest Lynch and Buffet (sic) utilize TA is ridiculous. Lynch and Buffett buy businesses, not chart movement.
