Well, if the judges keep up with this and the Stockhouse thread, then surely they too are convinced by now -g-
Their ruling will have profound consequences for their nation, and they can hardly help but be aware of this.
If all that "info" that has been repeated here many times is completely accurate, completely comprehensive, and has been interpreted correctly, and no information is before the court that would refute it, then indeed the decision may be as cut and dried - as automatic - as you seem to believe.
I remain not wholly convinced. Close - but not wholly. Not that it matters, at ten dollars and fourty cents I am unlikely to buy a ticket to play.
In any case, should Placer lose LC, I would expect court action against the CVG - people do not just shrug and walk away from hundred million dollar expenditures. For that reason, I would expect a negotiated settlement to be being encouraged behind the scenes, and that would explain at least in part the delay in releasing the decision.
