This page says the median amount of savings of people 65-74 is $200k. All other age groups are lower. nerdwallet.com $200k isn't producing investment income to allow you to go crazy with spending. Unless it's invested in rocket ship COHR. I sold some $182.50 Dec 12th covered COHR calls yesterday for $7.80, and today regretted it right off the bat. That thing is incredible.....
