America released its new National Security Strategy, marking its biggest policy shift since 1945. Here are the 11 Core Points:
1/ Monroe Doctrine is the core pillar of this strategy. Meaning focuses more on the homeland and the Western Hemisphere than other parts of the world both politically and militarily. (Elmat: Brazil is key for this)
2/ Free access to the American market and globalization is finally coming to an end. Immigration will be controlled strictly. Industrialization in the homeland is very important.
3/ America recognized that since 1991 US foreign policy was a complete disaster. It was a complete miscalculation by the political elite. America neither has the true strength nor the financial capacity to rule the whole world.
4/ No more war for democracy. USA will now make relations with countries even if they have different political and social structures.
5/ NATO expansion is over and the European partners need to take leadership in NATO. The free ride is over, pay us if you want protection. Year 2027 is the deadline. (Elmat: Europeans need to accommodate Russia)
6/ In this report Europe gets no respect. America is not happy with the leadership of Europe and says European leaders want something the European people have no interest in.
7/ Green energy is fraud and it is over. America will build its energy security with oil, gas, coal and nuclear.

8/ On Europe, if Europe is run by this leadership, in 20 years Europe will lose all its relevance. Its global economic share already fell from 25% to 14% in just 30 years. (Elmat: US will not be propping Europe)
9/ China is viewed as an economic competitor and a source of supply chain vulnerabilities. China will be faced with the allies together to create force to negotiate. Trade with China should be more balanced.
10/ Defending Taiwan will be a priority only if all the allies pay for it. And it is only priority not a vital interest. It is just official jargon to sacrifice it.
11/ There is basically no significant mention of South and Southeast Asia. America wants to build strategic partnership with Russia and increase trade. |
