Remember that Trump has already killed one football league because he bullied them into changing their business model. And they promptly failed.
Arguably the USFL was already in decline. Trump thought he could revive it with some "bold" business decisions, to say the least.

So yeah, you're right. Trump does have experience in sports franchising.

Speaking of which, I'll never forget how another rich guy, Dan Snyder, took down the Washington Redskins. I see a lot of similarities between Snyder and Trump.

(I'm sure sports aficionados can point to other owners with similar outcomes.)
