The original goal was to decide the national champ. They wanted four teams, and that seemed adequate until a couple undefeated teams outside the top four got butt-hurt. They should have increased it to 8 max, but they went to 12 and now it’s Football Madness with the likes of James Madison pretending they belong on the field with Georgia. Now the 13th and 14th team complain they are better than JM, and so and so on…
