Chaing Kai-Chek's wife lived to be 105, dying in 2003. Rachel Robinson, Jackie Robinson's widow, is 103-years old and still alive. Jackie died of complications from diabetes 1972 at age 53.

My dad's mom lived to be 96. Her parents both died from the Spanish Flu during that pandemic, and she was orphaned in her teens.

My dad could still be alive if he hadn't had Scarlet Fever when he was a kid. It damaged his heart, and that led to vascular dementia in the end. His paternal grandfather died in his 90's after being struck by a streetcar while walking across the street.

My genetics most mimic my dad. He was tall, lean, and athletic like me.

I've wondered over the years what all this miracle medicine is doing to our genetics. I guess the answer is we're just going to design the genetics like in the movie, "Gattaca."

I just saw a twin study today that said females with stronger legs live longer. Movement and strength is a life-extender.
