I lived on Oahu near Manoa Valley in Honolulu from 1981 to 1984. During that time, I visited all of the major islands, and I’m pretty sure Kilauea came back to life while I was there and hasn’t stopped since. I remember winning a bet with friends about being able to snow ski and go swimming in the ocean on the same day in Hawaii.
