No. But not far off if adjusted for real inflation and depreciation. Just never pay more than list price or buy into that hype. Believe it or not, there was a mini-bubble associated with its original release. Lines of customers lined up outside of Swatch Boutiques globally as if fanboys waiting for the latest iPhone. That eventually subsided and to their credit they kept releasing new versions.
