This is a pretty strong Geekbench score for Panther Lake, 3054 ST.
For comparison:
Strix Point: ~2600
Lunar Lake ~2700
Strix Halo ~2800
Desktop 9600x: 3342
Desktop 9700x: 3425

There was some problem with Zen 5 laptop chips, as far as not reaching full potential in ST performance. Not sure if this is Geekbench specific, but the gap seems quite wide for ST between desktop and notebook.

For example, Apple M chips, their ST performance in a phone, laptop and desktop is in much narrower range.

Zen 6 Medusa Low on N3P, with roughly equivalent process node should be able to beat it, but probably by small margin, just based on the process node, and Medusa High, with separate 12c N2 CCD should be able to beat it by good margin. Hopefully, Zen 6 will show up closer to mid 2026 rather than end of 2026.
